CATCHA SAFETY GUIDELINES

Last Updated: 24.05.2026 | Version: 3.0

1. PURPOSE AND SCOPE

This Safety Guidelines aims to protect the physical safety, digital security, personal data security, and social interaction safety of all users using the Catcha-app.com platform.

Since the Catcha-app.com platform offers matching, event creation, AR experiences, and location-based social discovery features, it accepts that users act consciously against both digital and physical risks as a mandatory safety principle.

2. GENERAL SAFETY PRINCIPLES

The user accepts the following basic safety rules while using the Catcha-app.com platform:
• Act carefully during physical meetups with people you do not know.
• Do not share personal addresses, financial information, and identity data.
• Report suspicious profiles via the in-app reporting system.
• Use AR and location features with environmental awareness.

The Catcha-app.com platform does not guarantee to completely eliminate the risks arising from the individual behavior of users.

3. MEETUP SAFETY

Events or meetups taking place through the Catcha-app.com platform are under the users' own responsibility. Recommended safety rules for the user:
• Plan initial meetings in crowded and public areas.
• Do not share personal addresses or invite unfamiliar people to private spaces.
• End the meeting in cases where you do not feel secure.
• Before going to the meetup, inform a trusted person about your location and whom you are meeting.

4. SOCIAL INTERACTION AND SECURE COMMUNICATION

Users are obliged to comply with community rules in their interactions within the platform. The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:
• Messages containing harassment, threats, hate speech, and profanity.
• Sending spam messages for fraud, advertising, or commercial gain purposes.
• Sharing content that disturbs other users or violates the laws.

The Platform may temporarily or permanently block the accounts of users who do not comply with these rules.

5. LOCATION AND AR SAFETY

Since the AR and location features of the Catcha-app.com platform involve interaction with the physical world, they require user attention. The user:
• Is obliged to check their surroundings while using AR.
• Should not focus on the screen during pedestrian or vehicle traffic.
• Must not trespass onto private property.

The Catcha-app.com platform is not a navigation or route guidance service, does not provide physical safety guarantees, and cannot be held responsible for accidents resulting from AR use.

6. SUSPICIOUS BEHAVIOR AND REPORTING SYSTEM

Users must immediately report the following situations: harassment, threats, fraud attempts, fake profiles, inappropriate content, and any other behavior posing a safety risk.

Reported content is reviewed by safety teams, and the relevant account may be restricted or completely removed depending on the risk status.

7. EMERGENCY BEHAVIOR PROTOCOL

In cases where the user does not feel physically or digitally secure, they should exit the application, cut off communication, and apply to local emergency numbers (such as 112, etc.) if necessary.

The Catcha-app.com platform does not offer real-world emergency services, but fully cooperates with law enforcement authorities within the legal framework.

8. DIGITAL SECURITY RECOMMENDATIONS

Recommendations for users' account security:
• Use a strong and unique password.
• Do not share account credentials with third parties.
• Do not click on suspicious links and avoid using payment channels outside the application.
